Facebook Pixel once deployed on our website, starts tracking all the Facebook visitors who visit the website. Pixel helps us create website custom audiences and lookalike audiences. This code can also be used for re-targeting inside Facebook.
What Is The Facebook Pixel
Pixel can be used to create –
Website custom audiences ( Facebook users who have visited you Website ). For example i want to segment all the audiences who is reading facebook related articles on my blog i will be able to do it.
It also helps you to develop called lookalike audiences which look like your audiences, for example if you have thousands visitors at your website and let’s say around 80% of visitors of these are tag as facebook user because now days most of them login into facebook by visiting your website , sometimes what happens is that if you are visiting a website without login facebook then facebook can not track so as a general rule if you have thousands real visitors so atleast 70 to 80% user can bes track by facebook pixel. you can retargeted ads to your audience on facebook.
